FAQs
How long should the hair be in order to get waxed?
Around about the length of a grain of rice, around about 4 weeks of growth.
How often should I get waxed?
When you first start getting waxed, we would recommend every four weeks. If you continue consistently getting waxed, over time the frequency you need to get waxed can decrease to five or six weeks dependent on your personal hair growth.
Can I shave in between waxes?
Ideally, no! If you want to get the most out of your waxes and see the best results you should refrain from shaving between waxes. If waxing becomes a regular treatment for you, there will be no need.
Does waxing hurt?
We all have different pain thresholds, and while there will be a little bit of discomfort, you should never be in excruciating pain. Try to stay as calm as possible (it helps to limit your caffeine intake prior to your appointment!) The pain should only last a split second while the waxing strip is being removed.
Can I get waxed and use sun beds?
No. Seven days before your or after your wax you must refrain from using a sun bed.
